This product is not a one-size-fits-all kit. Instead, it is a flexible, made-to-order terrarium kit that can be tailored to the type of terrarium you would like to build, the glass you want to use, and whether you would like plants included or not.

After placing your order, I will personally contact you to discuss what you have in mind and prepare a quote based on your build.

You can choose whether you would like:

• A layers-only kit, if you already have your own glass and plants

• A kit with glass included

• A kit with plants included

• A complete kit with glass, plants, moss, and decorative elements

• Optional extras such as orchids, tropical plants, mosses, or finishing details

Your kit may include the essential terrarium building layers, such as:

• Washed drainage rocks

• Clay pebbles for airflow and drainage

• Mesh separation layers

• Sphagnum moss for clean glass edges and moisture control

• Decorative black crushed rock

• Washed sand filter layer

• Premium growing mix

• Activated charcoal

• Bark chip top dressing

Every layer is packed separately and labelled with simple step-by-step instructions to guide you through the building process.

Because every terrarium is different, the final price will depend on the size of the glass, the layers needed, whether plants are included, the plant selection, and shipping requirements.

Custom terrarium kits can be safely shipped across South Africa. Whether you already have a glass container at home or would like me to help supply everything you need, I can prepare a kit that suits your space, style, and experience level.
