Your base kit includes everything you need to build your terrarium, except for the plants you want to grow inside (moss is already included).
To complete your kit, visit the Extras section on our website and add your chosen plants to your order as separate items. You must select at least one plant, but you're welcome to add more to create your own little tropical forest!
Choose from our selection of miniature orchids, tropical plants, and ferns. Each plant is priced separately, giving you the freedom to customise your terrarium to suit your style and budget.
Because this cloche has a more compact growing space, we recommend selecting smaller-growing plants that will have room to thrive without overcrowding the glass.
Important: Remember to add your plants to your cart along with your terrarium kit before checking out.
Building & Caring for Your Terrarium
The build guide takes you through each stage, from preparing the drainage and decorative layers to planting, adding the finishing touches, and the first light watering.
The included care guide explains how to look after your terrarium once it is built, including light, temperature, watering, condensation, and airflow.
Glass cloche terrariums are designed to be low maintenance once established. They prefer low to medium indirect light, a stable indoor temperature, and very careful watering.
Once the ecosystem has settled and reached a healthy moisture balance, the glass can remain closed for extended periods without needing additional water. The most important things to avoid are direct sun on the glass and overwatering.
